Raya Foods; one of Raya’s subsidiaries, is hiring a General Accountant.

What will you do:

• Perform month-end account closing activities and reconciliations.
• Assist and or reconcile bank statements as needed.
• Assist various departments in accounting issues and queries.
• Support Auditor in conducting internal and external audits.
• Assist in tax preparation and filing activities.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Follow documentation retention policy to maintain accounting files.
• Process vendor invoices and payment, following internal corporate guidelines and procedures.
• Ensure an accurate and timely month end close by preparing various journal entries and account reconciliations for prepaid, accrual, inter-company, fixed asset.

Technical Skills:

• Experience with MS Office and data programs.
• Typing speed and accuracy.
• Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation.

• Preferred knowledge of Oracle system ERP.
