Retail Design & Delivery Coordinator (Architect)

Raya Smart Buildings; a subsidiary of Raya Holding for Financial Investments is hiring with the below responsibilities and qualifications

Job Purpose: The RDD Senior Engineer is responsible for the on-site tenants' fit-out/services and co-ordination, working with corporate tenant coordinators, contractors, and municipality to complete the tenant on schedule. The RDD will direct and monitor any issues related to internal design and the local projects according to the management direction

Key Job Responsibilities:

1. Execute Tenant Coordination processes, procedures and standards for management, quality and efficiency in tenants design, construction and safety with reviewing tenant’s lease construction exhibits
2. Work with Leasing to provide support and develop the relationships necessary to handle all of the tenant’s needs as it relates to planning, budget, design, and construction.
3. Direct and manage the tenant plan check and permit process
4. Manage all tenant contractors on the project
5. Coordinate all tenant preconstruction meetings and construction meetings
6. Closeout tenant, construction projects by providing the document control and compliance department with all documents, fees, charges, lien wavers, balance reports, as-builts and other construction-related items necessary to close out projects and return tenant allowances
7. Timely inspection during and after delivering the projects to make sure of maintaining the building standard
8. Execute the design for any local project & Coordinate with the projects departments to obtain the MEP drawings then to manage obtaining the BOQs from the contractors
9. Regular check on the furniture and fit-out in order to assign the tasks to the related department with a very close follow up to keep the projects well maintained
10. Responsible for any modification or redesign for any part after obtaining the related approvals

• Shopping Center industry, or an equivalent experience in the design or construction industry.
• Ability to read and comprehend construction documents. 
• Architectural background and a sense of style and design are necessary. Construction background is helpful.
• Experience working on AutoCAD is a must.
