Database administrator - DBA (IT)

Aman Financial Services, a subsidiary of Raya Holding for Financial Investments is looking to hire “Database administrator - DBA” to join its team with the below job description and qualifications

Job Purpose:
Responsible for the performance, integrity and security of a database. Additional role requirements are likely to include planning, development and troubleshooting.

Key job responsibilities:

Nature of job impact:

• Manage store and organize data.
• Apply all required installation, configuration, database design, migration, performance monitoring, security, troubleshooting, as well as backup and data recovery.
• Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development
• Review procedures in database management system manuals for making changes to database.
• Set and maintain database standards.
• Performance tuning of database systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
• Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.
• Assist and drive database-as-code for fast development and deployment.
• Perform regular patching/updates of database servers.
• Develop and manage backup and DR plans for Scorpion’s databases.

Educational background:
University graduate from Computer Science.
