Job Description

Job Purpose:
To handle hiring logistics and support in the recruitment, selection and hiring of employees for vacant positions in Aman as per plan.

Key job responsibilities:

Nature of job impact:
• Responsible for developing sources of qualified applicants through internal (such as referrals) and external recruitment tools (such as posting advertisements, employment fairs and contacting recruitment agencies).
• Supports the recruitment process by screening applicants’ CVs for needed vacancies and scheduling daily interviews with candidates.
• Responsible for conducting HR interviews for vacant positions in Aman, ensuring the competency of short-listed candidates according to set criteria and requirements, as well as their compatibility with Raya’s core values.
• Communicates contract and offer details to new hires, ensuring all required documents are understood and signed.
• Prepares a daily report for the number of calls conducted throughout the day, outlining number of candidates with scheduled interview dates, and their sources of recruitment.
• Prepares a daily report with the results of conducted interviews, outlining the number of accepted and rejected candidates.
• Coordinates with department heads to arrange for panel interviews to speed up the selection process (depending on the urgency of filling the vacant position).
• Arranges with management and department heads to conduct technical interviews and finalize hiring decisions.
• Responsible for administering pre-employment tests (IQ, English and medical check-up tests) for potential candidates.
• Responsible for tracking all employees hiring status, including new hires as well as employees who have resigned or been terminated, preparing a weekly report sent to the HR Director for further analysis and feedback.
• Supports the hiring process through preparing contracts and approvals to hire.
• Responsible for sending an HR announcement for newly hired employees (to their direct supervisor or manager).
• Handles employees terminations (check-out requests and experience certificates).
• Responsible for maintaining and updating Aman on Remedy.
• Performs other related duties.
