Senior Cloud Support Administrator

Raya Information Technology; a subsidiary of Raya Holding for Financial Investments is looking to hire a Senior Cloud Support Administrator with the below job responsibilities and qualifications:

• Manage VMware Infrastructure/vSphere clusters on Production, Corporate and Test/Development environments
• Align with Cloud operations team to perform second line troubleshooting if needed and Escalate incidents/problems to the second-tier support
• Propose VM provisioning solutions to be analyzed and/or implemented
• Evaluate and apply version updates to ESX hosts and vulnerability patches as needed
• Cover Data Centers shifts 24/7 according to the shift schedule maintained by Data Center team leaders and perform Data Center physical eye check
• Monitor and Support Data Center Infrastructure using Data Center monitoring tools
• Facilitate Data Center customers’ visit with Security and Facility department
• Log Customers’ equipment in the Data Center CMDB, establish the required relationships and ensure that it’s visible in the Data Center CMDB reports
• Log all incidents and customer communications in the ticketing system, communicate the required RFO to the customer & respond within the agreed upon SLA

• Bachelor degree in Computer/Electronics engineering
• OS Certificate (MCSA, RHCA) is required.
• Linux /Windows system administration.
• Experience configuring and using VMware hypervisor “ESXi” and preferably to have good knowledge in open source hypervisors such as KVM
• Knowledge Data Center hardware (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, IPSs, Servers, Storages, SAN switches, etc.)
• Hands on Virtualization environments (VCA, VCP)
• Knowledge of Storage Fundamentals (EMC – ISM) is preferred
