Raya Information Technology: one of Raya’s subsidiaries is hiring Cloud Engineer:
What will you do?
• Develop and implement test plans to verify installation, upgrades or repairs including back-out plans
• Perform Data Center physical check for (Temperature, Humidity, Customers physical equipment as Racks, Servers and Storages, Surveillance recording system, Building Management system, etc.) & Submit weekly/monthly capacity reports
• Perform systems service changes and implement internal and external systems new releases with coordination with developers and other concerned teams
• Manage all cloud equipment from availability and performance perspective
• Determine and execute maintenance requirements, provide the needed support for the infrastructure components comprising the cloud environment
• Perform release management including operating systems upgrades, service packs installation, virtualization, middleware upgrades and patches as well as software and hardware migrations
• Handle second level of escalation for all running customers through NOC and Support & contact customers to inform/follow up on incidents through the ticketing system
• Monitor and support Data Center infrastructure using Data Center monitoring tools
• Log Customers’ equipment in the Data Center CMDB (Configuration Management Database)
• Perform configuration management tasks and ensure at all times the systems inventory is populated with an up to date information reflection operational changes.

Skills
Qualifications:
B.Sc. in Computer Engineering or Science
0-2 years of experience in Data Center Cloud Operations and customer support field
Very good understanding of systems related products (Microsoft Windows 2K/2K3/2K8/2K12, VMWare/VCD, IIS, MSSql) (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) deployments
Excellent understanding of system technologies (Operating systems, Hardware servers including blade/rack mountable servers, Virtualization, Storage, and Backup) and Network Architecture, Backup/ Restore, Storage Area Networks and Monitoring tools
B.Sc. in Computer Engineering or Science
0-2 years of experience in Data Center Cloud Operations and customer support field
