Raya Information Technology: one of Raya’s subsidiaries is hiring Network Engineer (Voice):
What will you do?
• Handle supervision, staff performance planning & evaluations, resource allocation, project scheduling, vendor engagement & management, and task completion.
• Handle all documentations required for implementing various telecommunication systems “Microwave, WIMAX”, Copper and fiber optic cables.
• Contact ISPs and Telecom infrastructure provider to ensure the maximum up time for the Data Centers infrastructure & renew all needed required licenses
• Secure Data Center Infrastructure pathways through providing redundant paths for all telecoms systems
• Perform continues capacity planning for current telecom systems and do the required forecasting with Presales and Project management teams to provide the required expansion on time
• Manage the preparation of telecommunication device and cabinet location layouts, cable block diagrams and schematics.
• Perform root cause analysis to resolve current problems and solve issues, often under time constraints
• Communicate the required RFO to the customer
• Escalate incidents/problems to the second tier support
• Manage all required PRI installation or termination &provide periodic status reports and updates to management

Skills
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree from a reputable university
• Hands on experience in basic and detailed design engineering of Telecommunications systems for Data Centers
• Experience in Installing new voice software and hardware components
• Experience in the design of Telecommunication Systems such as SDH, PDH, Optical Transmission Network, Satellite Transmission Systems, Structured and Fiber optic cabling, LAN/WAN, legacy and IP telephone,
• Experience in the design of radio systems such as Line-of-sight microwave radio systems
• +2 years Network operations experience.
• Strong communication, both written and verbal
• Troubleshooting skills, either basic or advanced, depending on the role and industry
• Bachelor degree from a reputable university
