Quality Assurance Specialist

Raya Foods, a subsidiary of Raya Holding for Financial Investments is looking to hire a Quality Assurance Specialist with the below job responsibilities and qualifications:

• Assure Quality Management System accomplishment, which is measured through internal and third-party audits trough the internal instructions and procedures of process audit, Quality Gemba Walking and customers’ requirements.

• Improve the standard work from Quality Team in order to assure that the all procedures and tasks are done to Assure quality records though product and process audits, QSB (Quality System Basic) implementation & develop standard operating procedures as required

• Translate orders, contracts, specifications, and engineering drawings into inspection instructions.

• Able to independently resolve most operations issues (customer requirements, facilities issues, technical problems) within set operations parameters, engaging Stakeholders.

• Review Production Batch Records and other manufacturing-related documents to verify compliance and record keeping for all mandated manufacturing processes, quality checks, testing, sampling, and sanitation activities.

• Assure product overall quality related to manufacturing process reinforcing the product audit, quality and food safety culture though quality meetings and initiatives.

• Assist in investigating and correcting quality-related issues (CAPA File including customer complaints) through collaboration with other departments.

• Ensure that the system works on the latest specifications and Regulations related to food legislation.

• Share knowledge, skills and information with other team members in the Quality Department and across functional areas.

• Participate in all regulatory, third party and customer audits and inspections, and corrective action response & perform other duties as directed by the Quality Manager.

Technical skills:

• Good knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMPs).
• Good understanding of quality testing within the food industry to include analytical, microbiological and sensory evaluation.
• Must possess a basic understanding of chemical and microbiological analysis and basic math.
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office applications) and computer-based applications.
• Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
• Preferred: HACCP certification, Allergen Control training, Food Recall training, GMP training certification.
• Good experience in the industrial field and FMCG.
